Adirondack International Mountainfest
A celebration of mountaineering that includes a variety of ice climbing and mountaineering clinics, slide shows, and demos. The event is a charitable event that supports the Access Fund, Local Search and Rescue Groups, and the New York Ski Educational Foundation.
Festiglace du Quebec – The North Face
February 18th – 20th. Festiglace The North Face du Québec is the world’s biggest ice climbing gathering. Festiglace is Canada’s only international ice climbing competition held on natural ice routes. ARC’TERYX CANMORE ICE CLIMBING FESTIVAL
March 3 – 6 2005, Presented by Devonian Properties. The Canmore Ice Climbing Festival kicks off with the audience favourite indoor dry-tooling competition at Canmore’s Vsion climbing gym on Thursday, March 3, followed by Friday night’s Best Epics slide show featuring wild climbing adventures by Canmore’s resident world class ice and mixed masters. In addition to the Devonian Ice Wall, the CICF’s downtown site will feature manufacturers’ booths with gear for beginners and the latest in leashless tools and fruit boots available for demo throughout the weekend. Several ice and mixed skills clinics will also take place on Friday and Saturday in some of the area’s prime ice climbing canyons dripping with frozen pillars and curtains, taught by some of North America’s top climbers. MICHIGAN ICE FEST
February 3rd – 6th 2005. This is the largest gathering of climbers in the mid west! 5th Annual Montreal River Ice-Festival
Come and enjoy the best ice in the Mid-West. Over 100 ice climbs are located within a half hour drive. Slideshows, clinics, gear rental, and lots of ice climbing. Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival 2005
This event has been eagerly anticipated by ice climbers in the eastern United States and is considered one of the premier climbing events in the country.
