<p><b>It has gotten DAMN hot here in the desert Southwest and plans to get out have been made, but before all of that I got a few things done.</b></p>
<p>The first ascent of <i>The Re-Up</i> (5.14d) was made in perfect timing to avoid the heat. I got seriously lucky. The route is truly one of my hardest if not THE most challenging I have done. I am very confident in the 9a grade on this one&#8230;.some friends say it could be harder&#8230;? It took me roughly 15 days on the wall, with <i>Unforgivable</i> and <i>The Connection</i>, which became <i>The Re-Up</i>. I love rock climbing!!!</p>
<p>After that I made the first ascent of a REALLY steep and pretty hard boulder problem I am called <i>Bovice</i>. I assume it is around V12 or so&#8230;I put in 5 sessions on this rig and had to use the right shoes believe it or not. I couldn&#8217;t utilize a heel hook or a toe hook without the proper tool&#8230;huh. If you are not up on what these names (Bovice, Unforgivable) are all about&#8230;go to Youtube and look up Unforgivable&#8230;. ENJOY.</p>
