International Climbers' Festival 2005 - Lander, WY
7/07/05 - 7/10/05 - The 12th Annual International Climbers' Festival! For those of you who have never been here before, the ICF is a non-competitive event where climbers get together, hit the crag, have some fun and celebrate our favorite sport. Lander is a world-class sport-climbing destination, home of the legendary Wild Iris and the ever-popular Sinks Canyon. Conditions were gloomy for our third Petzl/Arc'Teryx RocTrip update as rainy weather controlled Tuesday night and persisted through Wednesday morning. Our second report from Petzl/Arc'Teryx's RocTrip Squamish, and lets establish something right now. Right here, right now. "Right here, right now." Squamish is the spot! First Bishop, then the Gunks, and now the mighty Chief. Roc Trip goes to Squamish! Petzl, along with Arc'Teryx, is getting ready to host 2005's biggest climbing event... 10/15/05 - At 6:30 p.m., at the community house above the campground, the keg donated by Avery Brewing Company will get tapped, the barbecue furnished by Climbing Magazine will commence and music provided by the legendary DJ, Underground Chuck, will begin. |
