The 3rd Annual Chandler Mountain Challenge, a bouldering competition for all abilities at Horse Pens 40, AL, will be presented by Solid Rock – Climbers for Christ on Saturday, February 6th, 2010. The event will be a benefit for Climb-up So Kids Can Grow-up which is a non-profit that provides medicine for children with aids in Africa. (Learn more here)

The weekend will include a Friday Night Dinner, Saturday Competition, Saturday Night Closing Program/Awards and Sunday Morning Pancake Breakfast. The Closing Program will include a presentation by the VP of Man in the Mirror, Brett Clemmer.

Competition Details:

• Four Categories: Under 12, Recreation (V1-3), Intermediate (V4-6), Advance (V7 & up), Highest Female.
  
• Prizes for 1st thru 3rd in Each Categories.
  
• Scores based on top 10 climb score. BUT if tie occurs then the 11th highest climb score will be added to your score to determine the winner.
  
• Rain Date for the competition will be the following day (Sunday, Feb. 8th).
