How far would you go to give hope and save lives?

American Foundation for Children with AIDS invites you to participate in a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to raise money for our programs in Zimbabwe, Uganda and Kenya. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the continent, with a summit of 19,340 feet. The climb is scheduled for September 11 – September 24, 2009 and will be led by Summit Expeditions and Nomadic Experience.

When you join our Climb Up Kilimanjaro So Kids Can Grow Up team you will embark on two incredible ventures. One is to summit Mount Kilimanjaro and the other is to raise funds to provide life-saving medicine to children with AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. Participants raise a minimum of $10,000 for the American Foundation for Children with AIDS by collecting pledges from your friends, family, and your workplace. We are here to help you accomplish this goal and provide you with suggestions on how to raise money for your climb here.
