The 14th Annual International Climbers’ Festival will be held July 11th through the 15th in Lander, Wyoming featuring slideshows, clinics, a trade fair, parties and of course world-class climbing. For those of you who have never been here before, the ICF is a friendly event where climbers get together, hit the crag, have some fun and celebrate our favorite sport. People come from all over the country, and we always have some brave souls who make the journey across one ocean or another to make sure we're truly international.

Lander is indeed a world-class sport-climbing destination, home of the legendary Wild Iris and the ever-popular Sinks Canyon. It's also a gateway to the Wind River Mountain Range and the high desert Sweetwater Rocks, which boasts some of the best granite trad routes in the country. In addition to being a memorable and time tested festival, the ICF is more than an event, it is a non-profit organization that umbrellas the Jim Ratz Memorial Scholarship Fund; a fund that pays for two local high school students to climb the Grand Teton with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides as a way to introduce and encourage climbing among a younger generation.

The ICF is also closely tied to the newly developing Skinner Foundation; a fund that hopes to provide funding for large scale climbing expeditions. Please check our website climbersfestival.org or call Wild Iris Mountain Sports 1-888-284-5968 for more info and to purchase tickets. Hope to see you there!
