They have combined forces to make the next leap forward in climbing/adventure film. JOSH LOWELL Josh Lowell's New York-based company, Big UP Productions (bigUPproductions.com) has released eight climbing movies, including the most acclaimed and best-selling titles in the industry. Lowell's work has won numerous awards at international mountain film festivals and has been featured throughout the national press. He recently won a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Camera Work for an episode of NBC's Jeep World of Adventure Sports, which features an excerpt from King Lines. PETER MORTIMER A graduate of the USC School of Cinema, Peter Mortimer and his Boulder, Colorado-based Sender Films (senderfilms.com) created First Ascent (2006), Return2Sender (2005) and Front Range Freaks (2003) which have won awards at the prestigious Banff and Telluride Mountain Film festivals and been celebrated by outdoors enthusiasts throughout the world. Mortimer also contributes to television series, including NBC's Jeep World of Adventure Sports and The Weather Channel's Epic Conditions.
