In Downtown Kalamazoo: Between the MicroBreweries (Bells, Olde Peninsula, Water Street Coffee Brewers) and the Downtown festival sites, by the Live Music and The State Theatre.

What's in it?
A thriving climbing community, 30-foot TRs (34 ropes) mostly bolted, two topout boulder routes VB through V12. Two arches, Lead Cave with 65-foot constant overhangs. Plenty of space with mezzanine throughout and climbing starts below.

What's the standout feature?
The Topout Boulders are where you'll find the best sessions; our new Leadable Arch; and the “locals” - the climbing community is the best.

What are your age requirements?
Belayers must be 14, Merit Badge age13. At 16 months old, my son Kilian free climbed the slab walls (with a rope, harness, and helmet, of course). He is almost three, and pulls down some of the overhangs now.

Additional Comments?
The rock gym has been here for 13 years now. We bought it in 2008, and as part of a wave of second generation owners, we're thrilled to build, paint, clean, routeset, update, grid bolt, and whatever it takes. This year, the gym has seen some amazing new features, with more in the works. Vertical and Horizontal are Out - Steep and Dynamic are IN.
