About:
Since 1998, Prairie Walls Climbing Gym has offered state-of-the-art indoor rock climbing. Featuring 10,000+ square feet of highly featured climbing surface, our walls are designed to inspire and challenge first-time climbers as well as experienced climbers.
Prairie Walls Climbing Gym is Rochester, Minnesota's only indoor rock climbing facility. We offer a wide variety of services and products.
What's in it?
o 10,000+ square feet of highly featured climbing walls with dihedrals, aretes, stepped overhangs, an awesome slab and lead roofs.
o All climbing surfaces are covered with Prairie Walls seamless texture.
o 27 feet tall. 26 top ropes. 20 lead lines. Lead routes over 50 feet long.
o Dedicated bouldering area featuring freestanding boulders with problems that top out, steep overhangs, arches and a campus wall.
o Dedicated instruction / kids wall and a Rappelling ledge.
o Five cracks, from thin fingers to a heinous off-width and a lead crack across the ceiling.
o Padded landing surface under all climbing walls.
o 100+ marked and rated routes and problems for climbers of all abilities.
o Seasonally climate controlled environment.
o Complete recreational climbing equipment pro shop and workplace safety and rescue equipment.
o Storage lockers, changing rooms and bathrooms.
o Mezzanine area that overlooks the main climbing walls, with tables and chairs.

What are your age requirements?
Children under 7 will be accepted with a parent on site. All climbers must complete our waiver and rules agreement. Climbers under 18 must have the forms signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Gym Hours:
November through April:
Tuesday through Friday: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
May through October:
Tuesday through Friday: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
