When I told Joxe Mari this story, he told me, “Hey Josune! Bring the last bolt home; put it in a frame, and write down this legend: "In this “puta chapa”(fucking bolt) I felt...” You will have a memory of what could have been very unfortunate, and it wasn’t! (He makes me laughs a lot.)
Let’s return back to that day. I gave it a second try, and it was a horrible try! I must confess that I did feel some moves before the onsight attempt. I found out that I was climbing really terribly without the beta. What a disaster!
The next day I went again to Las Ventanas because I wanted to try a couple of routes that Andoni, the route setter, recommended to me near the left part of the wall. I finally onsighted an 8a route.

The whole following week we had a strange feeling, like we were carrying a storm wherever we went. We went on a loop, first to the southeast coast of Spain, and then we stopped in Sella. We had never been there before, it is nice and very marvelous, but again the violent storms made it impossible to try any route. The next stop was northeast, and the weather didn’t offer us any chance to climb there too. Then we drove north.
