Erica Lineberry’s love for nature and the mountains took on a new twist in 2006 when she discovered the joys of rock climbing with a hired guide in Squamish on a rest day from a Whistler Ski vacation. She knew right away that she was hooked! Since then, Erica has been blessed to have climbed all over the Southeast, along with a few longer excursions to Mexico, Utah, and of course a return trip back to Squamish to climb The Chief “for real this time.” When she’s not on the rocks, Erica can be found on the trail mountain biking, running, or hiking — whichever fits the mood that particular day!
While this blog won’t answer life’s deepest questions, it will explore some of the parallels between climbing and life, delve into some of the spiritual aspects of climbing, along with some trip reports of adventures, both new and old!
