Bittersweet Suffering

It is hard to not get discouraged this time of year. The weather rarely cooperates, fitness too, and I find myself getting a little down on myself. But I guess you can't be on top all of the time.

It can be rather frustrating climbing at the Virgin River Gorge. It is one of they only true winter climbing areas in the region, and people come from all over to escape the cold and wet. But the place is no haven, and it is rarely "warm". I still witness these awesome climbers suck it up and climb really hard.

Meanwhile my husband, Bill Ohran and a crew of locals stumbled upon some awesome boulders near our home in St. George, Utah. Mass amounts of new problems are going up. This area yields so much rock it really is mind boggling.
