The Yank-n-Yard has become a long standing tradition at Stone Age, and it has grown every year for 14 years running. This year will be bigger and better than ever with fresh holds, crazy features, an outdoor climbing zone, a huge prize raffle, and the largest cash purse ever seen in New Mexico.

The Format

This year we are offering two levels of competition: Open and Citizens. There will be a men’s and a women’s category in each. The Citizens level will be subdivided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories.

Open Category

This category will consist of a 10-problem redpoint qualifier round and a three-problem onsight final round. The top six men and top six women will move on to the finals round on Saturday, October 16. If you sign up for the Pro category and don’t make it to finals, no big deal. You still get to climb in the Citizens competition on Saturday and are eligible for the prize raffle. No hurt in giving it a shot.
