On April 4, 2009, join us at California's Pinnacles National Monument on the East Side at the at the Moses Spring Parking Lot for the 2009 Rockpile Rendezvous presented by the U.S. National Park Service. The Rockpile Rendezvous will celebrate the legacy of conservation and stewardship that climbers have practiced at Pinnacles over the last 70 years.
Follow the routes of legends and meet with climbing organizations and park staff to enjoy programs, displays and demonstrations highlighting:
Climbing gear from yesteryear
Low-impact climbing techniques
Technical Search and Rescue
We have reserved a group camping site in the Pinnacles Campground for those who will be staying the night of April 4th, but space is limited, so please reply to confirm attendance as soon as possible, as it will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schedule of Events 9 – 10 AM: Meet and Greet at Moses Spring Parking Lot (also booth set up will occur in this hour) 10 AM – 3 PM: Informational booths staffed in Moses Spring Parking Lot (Park rangers / biologists will also be roving during this time at the base of Discovery Wall, and interpreting raptor behavior near Scout Peak from 1 – 3 PM.) 3 – 4 PM: Take down booths 8 – 9 PM: Evening Program at the Campground Amphitheatre Rock climbing outings will not be offered, but information about the different climbing areas will be provided. Climb safely!
