<p><b><font color="#FF0000">UPDATED:</font></b> 9/11/11 &#8211; <b>Slovenian Mina Markovic tied Korean Jain Kim for first place in Changzhi, China, last week, not finishing second as previously reported. </b>This is Markovic&#8217;s fourth win of the year.</p>
<p>9/8/11 &#8211; <b>Austrian Jakob Schubert and Korean Jain Kim won the Lead World Cup in Changzhi, China, this week. </b>This is Schubert&#8217;s third consecutive first-place finish, as he won last week&#8217;s LWC in Xining, China, and the LWC in Briançon, France, in July. </p>
<p>Kim has medaled in six <a href="/bouldering/" class="aim-internal-link">bouldering</a> and lead climbing World Cups in 2011, including the Arco World Championships. </p>
<p>Spain&#8217;s Ramón Julian Puigblanque placed second, with Japan&#8217;s Sachi Amma finishing in third. On the women&#8217;s side, Slovenians Mina Markovic and Maja Vidmar won the silver and bronze behind Kim. No Americans competed in this comp.</p>
<p>Last week, in Xining, Schubert and  Markovic topped the podium, followed by Amma and Kim in second, and France&#8217;s Manuel Romain and Austria&#8217;s Katharina Posch in third. </p>
<p>Markovic currently leads the women&#8217;s rankings, followed by Kim and Vidmar. Schubert is on top for men by a fairly wide margin, followed by Puigblanque and Amma. </p>

<p>Next up is a Lead World Cup in Puurs, Belgium, followed by Boulder, Colorado&#8217;s first Lead World Cup on October 8 and 9. </p>
