French Top Bouldering World Cup

Daniel Dulac and Sandrine Levet won the first bouldering World Cup of the year, April 4 in Birmingham, England. Dulac was third overall in last year’s World Cup, and Levet, the overall winner last year, looks like the clear favorite for this season. The local boys did not come up empty-handed, however. Three Britons finished in the top six, led by 30-year-old Gareth Parry, who made the podium in third place. No North American boulderers entered the competition, which was held the same weekend as the American Bouldering Series national championships in Maryland.
