News Link: Dan Cappellini and Rolf Larson climbed a long ice line up the north face of Buck Mountain in the North Cascades in early December. Buckshot (IV WI4+ M4/5) reaches the ridge below the peak’s western summit; the two descended from there. The ice line on this face had been attempted at least five times without success. Dates of Ascent: December 3-5, 2008
