Jerry Moffatt's The Ace (V13) saw its fifth ascent by sleeper climber Andrew Earl on Novermber 29. Likely the second hardest boulder problem at Stanage in the Peak District (behind Ben Moon's recently established Voyager Sit Down Start), The Ace makes a sit-start to The Joker (V11), climbing improbable slopers to a difficult, dynamic move at a decent hold on the lip. This problem has been sent by Jerry Moffatt, Ben Moon, Malcolm Smith, and Tyler Landman previously.

Andrew Earl, from Newcastle, also recently made the third ascent of Ben Moon's Cypher on November 22 in North Yorkshire of the United Kingdom, and has made ascents of difficult testpieces across the UK, including the second ascent of Malcolm Smith's Monk's Life (V14) at Kyloe in the Woods.

Date of Ascent: November 29, 2006
