Barnes Lights up Hueco

The 21-year-old Californian Natasha Barnes is emerging as one of the world’s best female boulderers, with sterling trips to Hueco Tanks, Texas, and Bishop, California, this winter. Barnes, who did her first V10 last summer, now has six V10 problems under her belt, including the Hueco problems Dead Serious and Swiss Crisp Mix, both climbed on just her third try, and the Bishop-area V10s Bubba Gump and Redrum. Barnes also has done numerous V9 problems in Hueco this winter, including an onsight of Man Gum and flash of Paleozoic.
