News Link: Colin Haley and Dave Turner turner pulled off a late season link-up (possibly the latest ever?) of Yosemite's El Capitan and Half Dome in preparation for their Patagonia trips coming up this winter.

Beginning at 3:58 pm on Half Dome Haley and Turner sped up the Regular Northwest Face route in chilly conditions and topped out at 9:30 pm. After speeding back down, past the cables and Death Slabs to their bikes at Mirror Lake, then cramming food at the meadow below El Cap, the pair then started up The Nose at 12:30 am. Haley fired off the first block lead shift to deliver them at the base of the Great Roof by 6:30 am. Turner then expedited the remaining steep pitches for the final push. The pair arrived at the summit tree at 11:58 am — making the link-up in an even 20 hours exactly.
