News link: German climber Markus Bock has redpointed a 20 year old project in the Frankenjura that he has graded 9a+ or 5.15a. If the grade is confirmed Bock's new route would be among the hardest in Germany's Frankenjura. The Man That Follows Hell is located in the Grüne Hölle (translation: "Green Hell") and is famous for Jerry Moffatt s route Bastard (8a+). The route was bolted by Milan Sykora and is a direct start to Kawaschuwu (8c+).

Bock said to Sarah Burmester (in German) at Klettern.de that, "It's a 40 degree overhanging limestone wall, typical Frankenjura-style of climbing on small monos and 2 finger pockets."

In 2006 Bock made the first ascent of Corona (9a+) and has also redpointed eight other 9a routes (most of which were first ascents) in the Frankenjura.

Date of Ascent: October 4th, 2009
