12/7/10 - Germans Stefan Glowacz and Holger Heuber have climbed a new line on the La Proa wall at the Roraima Tepuis in Venezuela: Behind the Rainbow (5.13d, 16 pitches).

"Behind the Rainbow is the perfect route for me," Glowacz says about their ascent. "The higher you get, the more difficult it becomes, and each pitch has its own characteristics. The backdrop and scenery you're in is impressive. This adventure was one of a kind for me!"

The pair had attempted the route earlier this spring with the late Kurt Albert, but inclement weather prevented their success.

Date of ascent: December 2010
