Bosley Climbs V14 in New York

By Dougald MacDonald

Matt Bosley has added a new start to a V11 boulder problem in southern New York to create what may be the first V14 in the area. Bosley worked on the new problem, called Nuclear War, for a couple of days, said local climber Ivan Greene. The problem adds a six-move low start to Greene’s climb War Cry (V11), south of the Shawangunks in New York.

Bosley, from Maryland, is a past winner of the Southeast’s Triple Crown bouldering series, and he recently finished second at the hotly competitive Sendfest bouldering comp in Salt Lake City.
