Ethan Pringle and Angela Payne won the American Bouldering Series (ABS) national at the Pipeworks gym in Sacramento, California, on Saturday. The Pipeworks comp was the second of three ABS nationals whose results will determine members of the U.S. bouldering team. Pringle, who finished third at the first ABS national in Boulder, Colorado, is now on top of the ABS rankings, as is Payne, who has won both women’s ABS nationals this season. The third and final national will be April 2-3 in Maryland.
