News Link: A 13-year-old European has climbed a possible 9a (5.14d) route in Spain. No, it wasn’t Adam Ondra. This 13-year-old is Geoffray de Flaugergues from France, who redpointed El Templo del Café (8c+/9a) at Alquezar. Last year he climbed three 5.14c routes, including one at age 12

Meanwhile, 13-year-old David Firnenburg from Germany climbed L’Espiademonis (8c/5.14b) at Margalef, Spain. Firnenburg climbed two 5.14a routes in 2008.
