Two New Routes in Alaska Range

News Link: British climbers James Clapham and Gavin Pike climbed new routes on Peak 11,300' and Mt. Church in the Ruth Gorge area of the Alaska Range. The two climbed the central couloir on the east face of Peak 11,300' (best known for its popular southwest ridge) and a new line on the north face of Mt. Church, left of the 2007 Japanese route on the face and right of the Bracey-Helliker line climbed later in the 2009 season and reported earlier at Climbing.com.
