Women’s Team Climbs Cerro Torre

By Dougald MacDonald

Two Slovenian women, Monika Kambic Mali and Tanja Grmovsek, have made the first all-female ascent of Cerro Torre, via the Compressor Route. Last season, Kambic Mali made the first all-female ascent of Fitz Roy in Patagonia, climbing the Franco-Argentine Route with Tina Di Batista, also from Slovenia.
