4/4/11 - News link: Riding the train of Americans climbing in Europe, Daniel Woods arrived in Munich on April 1 and promptly dispatched Purring Puma (V14) in Zillertal, Austria, on April 2.

Likely the first repeat of the problem—Australian climber Chris Webb Parsons put up Purring Puma in May 2008—Woods says it's an "amazing 2 move boulder with a low percentage undercling move." Both Woods and Webb Parsons called it soft, implying it could be more V13 than V14.

According to Woods' girlfriend, Courtney Sanders, the pair plans to travel to Italy for a week, then to Switzerland to climb. They may extend their trip to include the Bouldering World Cups in Slovenia and Austria in May.

Date of ascent: April 2, 2011
