Woods Comes to Frogtown

Daniel Woods made an impressive week-long, whirlwind visit to the Virgin River Gorge where he made an onsight ascent of Hell Comes to Frogtown (5.13d) on October 22, as well as ticking the VRG testpiece Necessary Evil (5.14c) in six attempts over four days, on October 28. On the same day, Woods redpointed Old World Lullaby (5.14a) in three attempts. 

Additional sends at the Black & Tan cliff, include Breakin' the Law (5.14b), an onsight of Talking Smack (5.13c), and a  redpoint of Sniffing Glue (5.13d) on his second attempt. 

Woods has also made news recently for his first ascents in Colorado, specifically, Ode to the Modern Man (V14) at Mount Evans. To read about Ode to the Modern Man, click here.
