NEWS - HOT FLASHES American Guides to Teach Climbing to Pakistani Women This Summer
5/16/07 - The Pakistani Women's Climbing Camp, is a joint project of Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) and The American Alpine Club (AAC). A team of AAC representatives comprised of guides, a photographer and cinematographer – all of them women – will travel to Pakistan in July to facilitate a mountaineering course for up to 100 Pakistani women.

Second Annual Nationwide Mountain Climbing Event to Help Fight Cancer
4/12/07 - The event, known as "50-50-1" will include climbing teams in all 50 states in the US, scaling the highest peak in each state on the same day. Each team will raise money in their area, which will in turn help to fund important research to find a cure for cancer, provide patient support services, and give a child with cancer the opportunity to attend Camp Sunshine.

A Outward Bound memorial fund has been created in Chris' name to enable other teenagers to experience the trips where Chris solidified his love of the outdoors.
