The 2003 – 2004 PCA Tour Championship

Boulder, Colorado – The Professional Climbers is pleased to announce the PCA Tour Season III finale... the Tour Championship.

Returning to Colorado, the PCA will close out season III with our good friends at the Spot Bouldering Gym on 3240 Prairie Ave in beautiful Boulder. Once again, the PCA will assemble the world’s best competition climbers for a spectacular show and an all-out battle for a share of the $10,000 purse. Event dates are set for May 13 – 15.

Many questions remained unanswered. Can Colorado local Angela Payne stay on top of the women’s division or will Floridian Meagan Martin pull up from second place? Can Saskatoon resident Nels Rosaasen remain undefeated for five straight PCA events and all of season III making PCA history? Will Mogaki be joining us from Japan again? Can Team Five Ten win back-to-back titles or will Team La Sportiva / Teknik take the victory and the overall Team division title for season III? Wait and see as these stories and more unfold at the last stop on the 2003-2004 PCA Tour.

Registration opens today for PCA cardholders, non-cardholders and the Team Division. This is an open event. Non-cardholders are welcome to compete against tour veterans for a possibility of becoming a Season IV cardholder. This event will be the last opportunity to earn points toward PCA Season IV cardholder status. Non-cardholders may register for May 13th’s Wildcard Round from which the top twenty finishers will advance to compete in the May 14th’s Semi-final (Cardholder) Round. Participating entries for the Team Division must be registered before May 13th. Please submit your rosters as soon as possible.

The Main Event – Finals Night – is scheduled for Saturday May 15. Tickets are on sale now at www.pcatour.com and at the Spot Bouldering Gym.
