6/26/13 - Ramón Julian Puigblanque climbed La Tierra Negra (5.14d/5.15a) in Margalef, Spain, on only his second try last weekend.

Chris Sharma made the first ascent of this route, in the La Catedral sector, in October 2012. Puigblanque, or Ramonet, as he's known, wrote (in Spanish) that the route was hard and intense, with long reaches and big crosses on monos.

He also climbed Oro Parece (5.13d) on his second try.

Date of ascent: June 22, 2013
