The 15th annual Celebrate Eldorado event includes an auction of the rare signed prints shown above. All photos are approximately 10"x15", framed in 100% archival materials (frame size 16"x20"), and signed by the photographer and/or climber.Note: Online bidding will close at midnight on September 12th, 2007.

RARE AUCTION OF ELDORADO CLIMBING PHOTOS

Boulder, Colorado, 13 August 2007. This year to raise funds for trail work and other climbing related projects in Eldorado Canyon State Park, ACE, the Action Committee for Eldorado, is hosting the 15th annual Celebrate Eldorado event. In honor of this momentous occasion, ACE has assembled an amazing collection of rare signed prints of Eldorado climbs. Legendary photographers Dudley Chelton, Glenn Randall, Beth Wald, and Dan Hare have all generously given ACE permission to reprint some of their most classic Eldorado climbing photos. All photos will be signed by the photographers and some photos will be signed by the climber as well. The photos will be sold via auction that is now in progress on-line and open to the public. To place a bid, please email the photo number you wish to bid on and the amount of your bid along with your name and address or phone number to stefan@aceeldo.org On line bidding will close at midnight on 12 September 2007. Bids that are greater than the current on-line amounts will be accepted in person at the Celebrate Eldorado party and fundraiser on 13 September at the Boulder Rock Club from 7 to 9 PM. The winning bidders will be announced at that time. If the winning bidder is not present, ACE will contact that person to arrange shipping/delivery of their photos. If the photo(s) must be shipped, a $50 shipping charge, in excess of the bid, will apply. Winning bidders may pay by credit card, personal check, or online via PayPal. In the event any payment is refused, the next highest bidder will win the photo. This is a rare opportunity to own some amazing photos memorializing some classic Eldorado test pieces.
