Las Vegas, Nevada – The 12th annual “Mountain Gear Presents: Red Rock Rendezvous” (RRR) rock climbing festival will give participants an opportunity to climb with the world’s best professional rock climbers in a unique venue at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area near Las Vegas, Nev., Friday through Sunday, March 27-29. The event will host 45 professional rock climbers from the North Face, Black Diamond, La Sportiva, Petzl, Blue Water, Five Ten, Metolious and Osprey. Athletes will coach festival participants in half-day climbing clinics designed to improve intermediate and advanced rock climbing and mountain biking skills. RRR continues its tradition of providing climbers of all levels expert instruction in a friendly and supportive environment. Climbers can expect to improve their skills with half-day clinics each day targeting specific climbing techniques. The clinics are designed to provide one-on-one instruction in a small-group setting so participants can take full advantage of the opportunity to learn from some of the sport’s most celebrated athletes. The festival offers mountain biking and yoga in addition to bouldering, sport, big-wall and traditional climbing clinics.

Registration packages start at $99 and include access to a morning or afternoon clinic on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the clinics, participants also get to choose from various other off-the-rock activities including slacklining, mountain biking and trail running.

Other registration options include the UClimb package for $179 and the UClimb with gear package for $319. Both options include a full day of personalized instruction on the basics of rock climbing in a small group setting on Friday with an American Alpine Institute guide. The packages also include access to a morning or afternoon clinic on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the clinics, participants also get to choose from off-the-rock activities. The UClimb with gear package also includes harness, helmet, shoes, belay device, carabiner and chalk bag.

All packages also include access to the opening ceremony on Friday night with food cooked on-site, the Saturday night buffet and party, and the pancake breakfast on Sunday. For more information on resgitration options or to register, visit www.RedRockRendezvous.com.
