Join us at Mountain Fest a celebration of the Colorado Mountain Club, the state’s premiere mountain-adventure organization dedicated to recreation, conservation, and education on June 20th and 21st in Golden, Colorado. Designed for beginning to expert outdoor enthusiasts, this annual event is a weekend of exciting mountain activities, music, and more.

Schedule of Events:

Saturday, June 20

  • Ongoing, beginning at 11 a.m. Booths hosted by top outdoor equipment companies, CMC schools, and non-profit organizations Great food from local vendors American Mountaineering Museum tours

  • 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Outdoor skills clinics, including Hiking and Packing with Llamas, Introduction to Rock Climbing, Mountain Safety, Lightning Safety 101, Basics of GPS, Rock Self Rescue, Wildflower I.D., Birding 101, Geology of the High Peaks

  • 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Indoor rock climbing

  • 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Live music and happy hour

Sunday, June 21

  • 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Father’s Day Breakfast with the Colorado Mountain Club and the Kiwanis Club of Golden All-you can eat pancakes, syrup, Canadian bacon, orange juice and coffee A ticket to the Mountaineering Museum Free hikes for all ages led by the Colorado Mountain Club Adults – $8 Children - (Ages 5-18) - $6 Young Children (Ages 4 & under) - Free
