Einstein broke the bad news to Newtonians: time is subjective, dependent on one’s reference point. But I know time is real, because I’ve touched it — with the Tissot T-TOUCH EXPERT ($995, t-touch.com). Like its predecessor, the T-Touch, the 3.1oz Expert offers a touch-sensitive, scratchproof “tactile crystal” interface. But the Expert also features functions that’ll please you alpin-neer types, too: simply tap the crystal in one of seven sectors, and the watch morphs into a barometer (with relative and absolute pressure modes), altimeter/altitude-difference meter, chronograph/timer, compass/azimuth, alarm, thermometer . . . and back into a watch (with dual time zones). Plus, it’s stylin’.
