1/18/15 - Daniel Woods has completed a much-tried super-project on the Grandpa Peabody Boulder in California's Buttermilks. According to various reports, Woods called the new problem The Process. Woods confirmed that he sent the problem last night in a text to Björn Pohl at UK Climbing.

The so-called "mega proj" completes a trio of world-class routes on the severely overhanging and highball south face of the giant boulder: Lucid Dreaming (V15), Evilution Direct (V11), and now The Process, from left to right. The line has been a project for at least four years and has been attempted by Kevin Jorgeson, Carlo Traversi, Dan Beall, and other super-strong boulderers.

The Process finishes an older problem called Social Distortion (a.k.a. Blood Meridian), a V13 put up by Matt Birch. This is a four-move problem to a flake, where the climber drops to the ground. Above this, The Process climbs another three moves at V14 to the lip, followed by a complex V10 slab sequence at least 20 feet off the ground and no-fall-zone climbing above. All in all, the route has been widely speculated to be V16.
