Climbing
Chris Sharma Interview by Playboy Italy
Video by Playboy Italy - Barbara Pedrotti of Playboy in Italy interviews Chris Sharma. When asked what he would have done with life if he wasn't a professional climber, he replies, "I don't know, it's hard to say. Maybe something artistic. For me, climbing is a really creative sport. It's also a really creative process. You use your imagination to... imagine the way up. You're working with the rock... One reason it always attracted me."

Alizée Dufraisse: Just My Style
Video by prAna - I started climbing when I was eight years old on the legendary French cliffs in Verdon, Buoux. At the age of 15, I had sent my first 5.14a (Putain Putain) and had become a climbing Junior World Champion. I decided to take a break from climbing so I could devote myself completely to the pole vault as it was something that I was really excited about. I vaulted for 3 years and became champion of France only to realize that climbing was my means of expression and a lifestyle that suits me. I cannot live without climbing.

Living the Dream
Video by Renan Ozturk - My quintessential day here in Boulder Colorado. For most of the last 6 years I've been a traveling vagabond following my passion for rock climbing. This existence involved sleeping outside in wild places, hitching rides, having very little belongings, a drained bank account and some gourmet dumpster diving for food. I climbed every day and lived my dream. These days I'm a domesticated man. Each day I find time to escape to the nearby rock spires and bag a summit. Making this creative short I realized that I still live my dream everyday!

Cassin Ridge in Under 24 Hours

We left Calgary early on a Saturday morning, and by Sunday evening we were setting up our tent below the spectacular north buttress of Mt. Hunter. It was quite the shock, especially since I had just returned from the Utah desert. This was my first trip to the Alaska Range but Raphael Slawinski's forth, so I followed his lead in strategy and style.
