First BASE Jump Off Mont Blanc

Russian climber Valery Rozov does the first BASE jump off the Italian side of Mont Blanc. He jumped just below the Grand Piller d'Angie (from the famous "Divine Providence" at almost 13,000 feet) at dawn, falling for 35 seconds and 2,600 feet. He had climbed Mont Blanc with partner Alexander Ruchkin, guide David Authermann, and photographer Thomas Senf. More information at planetmountain.com.
