Photos by Luke Laeser — This year 194 competitors competed in the 2nd annual 24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell September 28th-30th at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch near Jasper, Arkansas. Climbers from all over the country came to participate in a one-of-a-kind, 24-hour-long, outdoor endurance competition where teams of two try to lead as many routes as possible within the ranch in a twenty-four-hour time period. This year a record 94 climbers endured for the 24-hour session fighting severe fatigue, dehydration, and bloody tips — route after route.
