Bouldering in France, Germany and Switzerland
Photos by Georg Lenz / www.lenzfoto.de - Bouldering naturally offers better working (shooting) conditions compared to roped climbing, but the German photographer Georg Lenz also enjoys that too. Shown here is a collection of problems (and climbers) from the European boulderfields of: Laurenzofels, near Alsace, France; Pfalz, near Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, Germany; Magic Wood, near Averstal, Switzerland; and Ticino in the Verzasca Valley, Switzerland.

Bouldering. Magic Wood, Fight Club 7c, Incredibly steep, rediciously long and very crimpy in the end. Marc is doing it the third time today, seemingly without a sign of exhaustion. Each time with a different pant or T-Shirt on, featuring a new logo of one of the recently aquired sponsors. Haha, not money rules the world, it's the latest climbing fashion, the ultra freshest solution in frictionshoe technology or truckloads of chalk! Photo by George Lenz / www.lenzfoto.de
