Bouldering in France, Germany and Switzerland
Photos by Georg Lenz / www.lenzfoto.de - Bouldering naturally offers better working (shooting) conditions compared to roped climbing, but the German photographer Georg Lenz also enjoys that too. Shown here is a collection of problems (and climbers) from the European boulderfields of: Laurenzofels, near Alsace, France; Pfalz, near Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, Germany; Magic Wood, near Averstal, Switzerland; and Ticino in the Verzasca Valley, Switzerland.

Bouldering: Brione, in the beautiful alpine Verzasca Valley, Ticino, Switzerland. Two of my friends worked almost the whole day on this Problem. After long hours in Molonk Fb 7c, they looked rather frustrated. Then Cris Webb-Parsons showed up and almost flashed it! I guess, they didn't give him the right Beta,(devlish laughter at this point). In 2nd. try,he didn't need any help anymore. Photo by George Lenz / www.lenzfoto.de
