BlueWater Dominator Rope Review - No 224

by Matt Stanley

BlueWater Dominator 9.3, $185
Summary: Currently the world’s lightest and skinniest single rope, the BlueWater Dominator weighs two grams less per meter than its closest competition. That might not seem like much, yet it adds up to a third-pound of savings for a 60-meter cord. The cord was fairly soft, which made for less efficient clipping. That aside, the Dominator is a worthy purchase for the rabidly weight-conscious.
Pros: Ultralight.
Cons: Softens up quickly.
Overall grade: A-
