Five Ten Rock Shoe Review

FiveTen X-Ray, $99
Summary: Positioned as an all-around price-point Velcro slipper, the X-Ray works well for the entry-level sport climber. The shoe smears and toe hooks nicely, but the heel could use a little more rubber. Also, the rough suede on the unlined interior of the shoe tends to be irritating, and gets slimy with sweat.
Pros: Smears well. Inexpensive.
Cons: Rough suede interior. Bulky buckles.
Overall grade: C
