Steph Davis free climbed the Salathe Wall (VI 5.13 or 5.9 C2) on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley in October 2005. Here's the footage (with help from Jimmy Chin and a Sony Handy Cam) of her climb.

Free climbing is climbing without pulling on anything than the natural features of the rock (as opposed to aid climbing where you are putting your weight on pitons etc) free climbing includes sport/trad/bouldering/soloing etc.

You are confusing 'Free climbing' with 'Free Soloing'! In Free climbing you are certainly using "aid" equipment, such as ropes, slings, biners, harness, etc... (You are just NOT pulling directly on those pieces to ascend the rock--as you do in Aid Climbing) Free Soloing is climbing with nothing. Only shoes and a chalk bag.

Free climbing is a specific rock climbing term that refers to climbs in which climbers do not employ climbing protection such as ropes, tri-cams, nuts, and other climbing equipment to aid in ascending the climb, although, such equipment may be used to protect against injury during falls. The term free climbing originally meant "free from aid".[1] Free climbing includes solo climbing, traditional climbing, sport climbing and bouldering. SPORT CLIMBING IS FREE CLIMBING. this is just stupid. Free from aid! I can see a lot of aid here!
