Mike Libecki is a consummate badass. He has 50 expeditions under his belt. He's climbed everywhere from Antartica to Borneo to Afghanistan. Last year National Geographic named him one of their adventurers of the year. He's also a father. In this video, just in time for Father's Day, Libecki talks about what it's like to be part of those two worlds, and how they're starting to come together.

Uh oh Mike. Oxymoron doesn't like you being out in the world doing something you enjoy. Better pack it in and head home, get really into watching Family Feud, online gamble and wait to die. Its the least you could do after inconveniencing others by breathing all that air.

Does the world really need another 50 Lebecki expeditions? Quite the opposite I would contend. Just open up that shelter. It's the least he could do for leaving footprints in every corner of the world. It'll never bring back the polar bear he shot....but it's a start.
