Environmental Stewardship Adventure Days

By Bethany B. Lowe ,

Get outside and give back with Adventure Links this summer! We are hosting three Environmental Stewardship Adventure Days in an effort to clean up areas we love and are giving our community the opportunity to be involved. The giving goes both ways too - days will incorporate half a day of environmental stewardship and half a day of adventure! Clean trails at local crags Crescent Rock and Elizabeth's Furnace in the morning then go rock climbing in the afternoon on us! Whatever program you choose, be sure your decision to help the environment will be recognized. The programs are open to all adventurers over 8 years old and we encourage families to come together and volunteer. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.Environmental Stewardship Adventure Day Schedule:Crescent Rock July 5 10:00 am - 4:00 pm MAX 30 volunteersElizabeth's Furnace September 6 10:00 am - 4:00 pm MAX 18 volunteers

The inherent benefits of Adventure Links' outdoor programming have stimulated individual and team development for years. With a foundation in outdoor education, we have remained committed to providing quality adventure programs, from summer adventure camps to custom corporate retreats, for over a decade. Custom retreats yield natural lessons and foster youth leadership development in school groups and scout troops. Our staff's passion for the outdoors will inspire you to climb higher and cave deeper. Our team building programs will unify your group through a series of lessons and laughter. Our youth adventure camps will provide an active, hands-on environmental experience for younger generations. All set in the untouched wilderness of Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington DC.
