Kelly was with out a doubt, one of the best female climbers in Arizona during the 1980s. She was especially prolific in Zonerland of the Superstition Mountains, putting up numerous routes in the ground-up style. Tone of a Bell, even by today’s standards, is considered an Arizona classic. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. A memorial service was held for Kelly on June 6 at the Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona. Kelly leaves her 15-year-old daughter behind. An endowment fund for her to go to college has been set up at , if anyone would like to show their support for the amazing kid of an amazing woman.
