Competition climbing is back, at least for the next several days. From November 21-25 athletes will compete in speed, bouldering, and lead in Moscow for a chance to win this year’s European Championship. The competition serves as an Olympic qualifying event. Only European athletes may enter, and the top ranking man and woman at the end of the event will receive an Olympic berth* for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, which are now planned for 2021.
