The Edelrid Herkules Boulder Bag.

A reliably freestanding no-spill chalk pot with bluesign (environmental standard) materials for $30? “Sign me up,” said our tester, who has made the Herkules his go-to MoonBoarding and gym pot. This wide-mouth (19cm diameter) big boy has a doubly bomber closure, with a Velcroing sleeve plus roll-top/buckle you can cinch tight. When it’s time to climb, the sleeve rolls down easily to access the 21cm-deep reservoir—plenty deep to coat your mitts. Other winning features were the paired drag/carry handles, zippered stash pocket, and five vari-sized brush holders, with a stealthy mesh pouch below to anchor them. MSRP: $30
